Introduction
All organisations live with Chronic Problems that silently erode the performance of their vital processes. Educational Institutions are no exception – common examples include Admissions, Placement, Purchasing, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Performance Appraisal, and Complaints Resolution, among others. These chronic problems generate Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) that is hidden within the budget. COPQ is at least one-third of total cost. Solving these problems can meaningfully improve the health of an institution – operationally and financially.
The remedy is Structured Problem Solving, adopted institution-wide. The four steps are • Problem Definition • Problem Diagnosis • Problem Remedy • Locking the Improvements. QualTech® Education is an institutional programme that brings this remedy to life – by enrolling your students in the Junior Qualitist® accreditation pathway.
Process & Timeline
90 Days. 5 Teams. Real Problems. Measurable Impact.
1
Days 1–30
Assign
The Quality Council identifies five chronic problems and assigns one to each Project Team. All 25 Level 1 Junior Qualitists register for QualTech® Education and begin scoping their approach.
2
Days 31–50
Apply
Teams apply their learning to the assigned problem using a guided online template. A Qimpro® Mentor conducts the first check-in to validate problem definition and team progress.
3
Days 51–70
Refine
Project Teams quantify estimated COPQ reduction in a draft Project Report, validated by their faculty coordinator. The Mentor conducts a second check-in before final submission.
4
Days 71–75
Submit
Project Teams submit their Project Reports online. Each team member receives a Qimpro® Certificate of Achievement.
5
Days 76–85

6
Days 85–90
