70% processes in HCOs are generic. These processes have chronic problems that result in customer/patient dissatisfaction, as well as wasteful costs. Wasteful costs are referred to as Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).

Qimpro and CAHO are proud to announce the 5th Edition of QualTech® Prize - Healthcare.

Participating in the QualTech® Prize competition offers an opportunity to learn, share, and benchmark process improvements made by HCOs in India.

A carefully selected Panel of Examiners will study the project reports and score projects against pre-announced criteria. To be eligible as an Examiner, the individual needs to be a Qimpro® Certified Qualitist®.

Projects will be shortlisted in 4 stages:

  • Stage 1 – Level 1 & Level 2 Qualitists will first shortlist 10 projects per category (categories below)
  • Stage 2 – 50 shortlisted projects will make online presentations to Level 2 Qualitists, who will further shortlist 5 projects per category
  • Stage 3 – 25 shortlisted projects will make platform presentations to Level 3 Qualitists at a full-day pre-conference event at CAHOCON 2024 on 5 April in Kolkata. At this stage 2 projects per category will be shortlisted for final presentation
  • Stage 4 – 10 shortlisted projects will present their projects on day-2 of CAHOCON 2024 (7 April), where a jury of very senior healthcare professionals will select 1 winner and 1 runner-up per category.

We invite all NABH, NABL and JCI accredited HCOs to register their projects.
