PROFESSOR ADITYA SHASTRI, Vice Chancellor, Banasthali Vidyapith, is a third generation educationist. Established in 1935, Banasthali is a distinguished national centre for girl's education, from nursery to post-graduation in arts, science, business, technology, computer application, and education.
Prof. Shastri is an accomplished mathematician, scientist, and researcher. His research interests include Combinatorics, Ramsey Theory, Design & Analysis of Algorithms, E-Commerce, and Mobile Computing. Over the past decade, Banasthali has reaped the harvest of this knowledge sown by Prof. Shastri.
Traceable to the direct endeavors of Prof. Shastri is the establishment of the Apaji Institute of Mathematics and Applied Computer Technology at Banasthali. This institute is a proven hatchery for technology-empowered women.
At the initiative of Prof. Shastri, Banasthali Vidyapith now has a licensed air strip that is used for training women students in gliding and flying. He has also facilitated the establishment of a FM radio station, Radio Banasthali. Empowering women in multiple fields.
