Mr. Godrej has played a key role in the development of a variety of industries by captaining several significant organizations of trade and commerce. Noteworthy amongst these are the Indian Soap & Toiletries Makers' Association, the Central Organization for Oil Industry and Trade, the Solvent Extractors' Association of India, and the Compound Livestock Feeds Manufacturers' Association. He is the President Designate of the Confederation of Indian Industry. His focus: earning customer trust, worker trust, and society trust.
Mr. Jain's contribution to society is boundless. He has developed wood substitute plastic products, thereby conserving forests. He has also promoted the cause of the environment by harnessing solar and bio energy. He has established Anubhuti – 2, a world-class residential school in Jalgaon, exclusively and absolutely free for economically under privileged children.
Through Mr. Jain, more than a million farmer families have learned to earn profits and live a life of honor and dignity. Also, nearly 300 entrepreneurs have been inspired by his trendsetting work.
