PROFESSOR MAN MOHAN SHARMA is the Former Director of the University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT), Mumbai. He is the most decorated UDCT alumnus in India. His Mission: Serve the chemical industry and the profession of Chemical Science – Engineering – Technology.
UDCT has been the Karma Bhumi for Prof Sharma; and Chemical Engineering a Rashtra Karya. Teaching, Research, and Consulting have been his sacred Mantra. He has shared his doctrine on Chemical Science – Engineering – Technology with the Government of India and Indian industry at large.
Prof Sharma is a Knowledge Engineer. He has 250 Research Papers in Chemical Engineering to his credit. In addition, he has supervised 71 Doctoral Theses; and 35 Master in Chemical Engineering Theses.
Prof Sharma is a tireless crusader for Chemical Science – Engineering – Technology. He has earned international accolades for the Indian Chemical Engineering Profession and the University of Mumbai. He is the only Engineer from the university system to be honoured as Fellow of the Royal Society.
