Prof (Dr) Balram Bhargava, Director General, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, is a distinguished Cardiologist. A humane practitioner, who is revered by the medical fraternity, globally.

Prof (Dr) Bhargava is recognized as an authority in public health, bio-medical innovation and medical research. His vast knowledge translates to wisdom.

As a result, Prof (Dr) Bhargava is also an effective trainer. He is Professor of Cardiology at the sterling All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. His vast experience is woven into his delivered training. Students are delighted.

Prof (Dr) Bhargava is Secretary, Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The research philosophy for Prof (Dr) Bhargava is: More for Less for More.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has tested Prof (Dr) Bhargava. As a Member of the Central Government’s National Task Force for containing COVID-19, Prof (Dr) Bhargava’s primary achievement has been catalysing the development of an indigenous vaccine, COVAXIN, at speed, in collaboration with Bharat Biotech. Making India proud.

  • Setting up COVID-19 testing labs across the country.
